Analysis of Every Day Pills

Advantages
ü  Can be bought at
any pharmacy, without a prescription. But a woman should consult a health provider or pharmacist first
ü  No delay in getting pregnant
ü  Can be stopped at any time
ü  Some pills can be used by breastfeeding mothers, from 6 weeks after giving birth.
Disadvantages
ü  Does not protect from STIs
ü  May cause hormonal side effects
ü  Requires daily action
ü  Not good for some women e.g. those with high blood pressure.
