I knew men and women
were created differently but what I did not know is that, men have bigger
noses. I am sure all of you did not know.
A new study has
confirmed that men actually have large noses (10 per cent bigger) than women and the reason is that they posses more muscle mass and thus have higher energy demands than women. Thus for men, more oxygen is required for the muscles and energy production hence the large noses.

It was explained that
noses of both boys and girls are generally the same size until they turn11 and
the difference of nose size becomes more apparent.
The findings help explain
why our ancestors such as Neanderthals had larger noses than us; they had
larger muscle mass and as a result needed more oxygen. The findings were
published in the America Journal of Physical Anthropology.
